Careers
Interested in painting and working with a practical Southland team? Painters Invercargill welcomes expressions of interest from people who take pride in preparation, workmanship and treating customers' properties with care. The roles described below are examples of the skills we value and are not confirmation of current vacancies. You can contact contact@paintersinvercargill.co.nz to enquire about opportunities.
What We Look For
- Care about the work. We want people who take pride in doing painters properly, not just quickly.
- Straight talk with customers. You will be in someone's home or business explaining what you found. Plain language beats jargon.
- Reliability. Showing up when you said you would matters more here than any single line on a resume.
- Respect for the property. Protecting the space, cleaning up, and leaving it better than you found it.
- Safety, every time. Following safe practice is part of the job, not an extra.
Experience in painters or a related trade helps. If you have the attitude and not yet the trade experience, say so, because we do train.
